Temporary Tattoos

Temporary tattoos are popular with children and models.  They can last anywhere from several days to weeks and are transferred  to the skin using a decal and water.  They can be removed by oil-based creams .

Vegetable dye tattoos last about three weeks and contain glue in them similar to a bandage.

Henna tatoos and silver nitrate stains appear when exposed to ultraviolet light and take up to two weeks to fade.

Temporary airbrush tattoos are stencils that cover the skin and are sprayed with ink to form a tattoo.   These tattoos can last two weeks.
